It needs several thousands HK dollars. Basically you just need a computer, webcam and a webcam software. But since my desktop isn't near Koala's cage, I need to built a wireless server just to serve the webcam.

For those who wanna setup a similar system, you could consider some all in one web cam, which have built in web server and LAN connector/Wireless adaptor, should be cheaper and easier than use a separate computer.
I wanna setup one monitor the fish tank, but no good place to position the cam. Not very good to put a tripod in home. T_T

the pics are kind of lomo-style - no flsh-lights, no display - just snapshots.
a infrared-light-cam would bevery interssting.
