Wipers

Now the wipers have problem. I hate things not reliable.

Need to visit the service centre again. :(

That's life!

Oscar winner

I should take a video of her instead. This worker can win Oscar, she was sleeping instead of working. She could still move while sleeping, moving both her hands and head.

You can't even wake her up by knocking the table. Our government is spending too much money. Maybe this is the result of outsourcing. You can find her in one of the government sports centres. Miraculously, she managed to wake up and said sorry. I thought she was dead, really.

She had a magazine in the drawer and I believe she was listening to the radio too.

Good service

Got back my Mini Cooper. My Mini is no longer under warranty, but BMW didn't charge me a cent for replacing the coil of the air-con system. They didn't charge me because they couldn't find the problem last time while it was still under warranty. Although it was their fault, I still think they provide excellent service.

They tighten up my car every time. The steering wheel now feels like F-1.

An exciting movie with stunning effects but a poor ending.

Spammers

Recently, my log is being accessed by some spammers. I don't understand what they are trying to do. From the referred address, sometimes they come from pharmacy sites, sometimes casios. The IPs are from everywhere, South Africa, Greece, Mexico, Croatia etc. Also the browser they use are random. Even the link of my log they visited is random. I believe they are using script of some kind.

Maybe they are earning ad money?! Creating a high impression rate through my site? Let me know if you know.

Baby seat

Koala's new carry basket is good for being a baby seat in car.

Not too good for carrying him, he will jump out of it. However, he won't do that in car. Maybe Koala knows he can't go anywhere within a car.

Free book

I haven't been to the book fair yet. However, I have received a free book + CD from Charles Chau, the managing director of MTV in North Asia.

It is book about his life journey. It touches many topics, such as work, management, friendship, marriage and health. Charles is a smart guy, this book will surely give you some inspirations/insights. According to his reading list, I am amazed that even The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene is included. Superstring theory is the expertise of my brother.

The CD is a collection of selected Jazz and Classical music. Charles will say something before each piece. Should be the first time in HK.

Everyone wants to write a book, why not?

I have a plan for mine too, violin-related.

Behave

I am driving a Mercedes A-Class these days since the air-con of my Mini failed to work after my 3-wk trip.

Tonight, I drove my temporary car back to the car park and stopped in front of the shroff. I wanted to tell them this is going to be my temporary car for a while. Right at the moment I stepped out of my car, an old man(a staff there, who I couldn't recognize him) shouted at me, why I sold my car? You car was so nice.... blah blah blah....

Ha, someone likes my Mini.

I didn't expect people could recognize me, especially I was in a different car with a different license plate. I guess I better behave.

Try before you buy

This system is crazy, just scan the barcode of any CD and can listen to the tracks inside. It works for all the CDs in the shop, no kidding!

I found it in Barnes & Noble. The system is developed by RedDotNet.

Hong Kong should have that.
